Ways To
Connect

At the Church of God (Seventh Day) in Marion, Oregon, we have many different ways to connect.  From internal service projects, to community outreach.  There are many ways to contribute to our family and community.

Abundance Clothing Givaway

Throughout the year, we collect gently used (or new) clothing and provide a "store" type setting for families to attend and give them the opportunity to choose items of interest and/or need.

Thanksgiving Baskets

One of our church’s major outreach efforts is our annual Thanksgiving Food Basket ministry.  We often serve over 100 families and each year we anticipate even more opportunities to help in our community.

Please complete the online signup if you would like to make a food donation and/or want to help with assembly and delivery. (See link below)

Monetary donations will be used to purchase food items not donated, including fruit, yams, celery, onions, potatoes, etc. Please indicate "Thanksgiving Baskets" on your check or in Tithely.  Instructions on how to give are here on our giving page.

As you have done generously in the past, please consider how you might contribute to this ministry.

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” Matthew 25:35 (ESV)

Samaritan Ministry

For the past several years Marion’s Samaritan Ministry has donated “Essentials Bags” to the local school districts. These bags are given to children in need so they can have good personal hygiene when they go to school.
